The company is seeking an Oracle APEX and PL/SQL Developer to join its team and help design, build, and improve database-driven applications.

About The Role

As an Oracle APEX and PL/SQL Developer, you will create and enhance APEX-based user interfaces and develop the PL/SQL modules that support them. You will contribute to customer projects alongside colleagues from different teams, taking part in the full solution lifecycle-from initial concept and implementation through testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing development. This role is suited to a technically skilled developer who can combine strong analytical thinking with a practical, collaborative approach. You will help deliver reliable solutions while taking responsibility for the quality and usability of your work.

Qualifications

You should have solid, hands-on knowledge of Oracle APEX and PL/SQL, along with a good understanding of the technologies used to create modern web interfaces. Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS is important, as is familiarity with version control systems and their use in a development environment. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and conceptual abilities who can understand requirements, evaluate options, and develop appropriate solutions. You should be dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of your tasks while contributing constructively within a team. Excellent written and spoken German is required, as the role involves communication and documentation in German. Good English skills are also expected.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will design and develop dialogs and user-facing applications using Oracle APEX. You will write, maintain, and improve the associated PL/SQL modules, ensuring that application functionality is reliable and aligned with project requirements. Working with colleagues across different teams, you will contribute to customer projects and support the development of solutions from planning through delivery. Your responsibilities will include helping shape technical concepts, implementing agreed designs, testing application behavior, and documenting solutions clearly. You will also support the commissioning of completed applications and continue developing them as requirements evolve. Throughout each project, you will apply sound development practices, use version control appropriately, and communicate progress and technical considerations with the people involved.
