About The Role

In this role, you will take ownership of key infrastructure services and help shape the future of HAURATON’s IT environment. You will operate, design, and enhance Microsoft-based systems, cloud services, networks, virtualization, backup, and security solutions. Working across infrastructure, cloud, migration, and security initiatives, you will coordinate projects and changes from planning through implementation. You will also provide advanced technical support, investigate complex issues, and develop reliable, well-documented solutions. This position is suited to an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys balancing hands-on engineering with project leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience operating and improving complex IT infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory, with practical experience using Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design and deliver infrastructure, migration, or security projects.
• Good understanding of networking, virtualization, and backup, including VLAN, VPN, routing, DNS, DHCP, VMware vSphere, and Veeam.
• Practical experience in IT security and identity and access management.
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery, as well as structured change, testing, and commissioning processes.
• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach, along with good German and English skills.
• Experience with Intune, PowerShell automation, endpoint security, or Microsoft security features is valuable for contributing across the full infrastructure landscape.

Responsibilities

• Operate, technically design, and continuously develop Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Lead infrastructure, cloud, migration, and security projects, coordinating project activities and change management.
• Optimize VMware and Veeam environments and design or improve backup, high-availability, and disaster-recovery solutions.
• Develop network and IT security solutions covering LAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, routing, firewalls, endpoint security, multifactor authentication, conditional access, single sign-on, and system hardening.
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents as part of 2nd-and 3rd-level support.
• Automate processes with PowerShell and maintain technical standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Support reliable implementations through clear planning, testing, communication, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
