Contract Manager, required for a major offshore wind developer based in Germany
Responsibilities:
- Contract management of high value, complex Tier 1 contracts to ensure contractual deliverables are met during the construction phase.
- Responsible for collaborating with PM and package teams; advising on contractual and commercial issues, identifying risks and minimizing impacts to the Project.
- Be the single point of contact for the Contractor regarding all commercial/contractual matters.
- Change management including variation orders, amendments and settlement agreements.
- Claim management including drafting, substantiation and negotiation including offshore campaign claims; tracking stand-by/downtimes during offshore T&I campaign, handling of extension of time and various offshore-specific claims during construction phase.
- Manage all commercial operations for the respective package, processing payment applications, forecasting of costs and commercial reporting to the Project.
- Undertake procurement tasks for the respective package during construction phase, such as additional equipment/tools/scope of work to the package, active use of SAP.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of technical background (Quantity Surveying/Engineering).
- Solid experience in managing EPCI contracts in offshore wind.
