About The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Blinkist, you’ll lead the charge in shaping the architecture of a platform that inspires millions to learn and grow. As a pivotal member of one of our Mission Teams, you’ll take full technical ownership, driving cutting-edge innovation across our stack. Beyond building and innovating, you’ll mentor and empower other developers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. • Take the lead on technical initiatives and make critical architectural decisions that shape our platform’s future.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and contributing to a thriving engineering culture .
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into elegant, practical technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in our development practices, processes, and overall code quality.

What You Need To Have

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a proven track record.
• Strong experience in the Ruby/Rails ecosystem , including production-level development.
• A history of designing and delivering scalable applications and making sound architectural decisions.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities , attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
• Outstanding skills in technical communication and a passion for mentoring and empowering others.
