Planning and controlling the development of material costs Contract initiation/design, ordering and monitoring of the ongoing business relationship with realization of market prices, quality and logistics requirements New supplier search/qualification/approval and supplier development New part request and maintenance Article maintenance in the ERP system (BMD NTCS) Implementation of projects to reduce the procurement costs of spare parts Disposition of the parts Delivery date monitoring Stock level monitoring and responsibility Further development of purchasing processes Cooperation with operational purchasing and technical departments What you bring with you:
Completed business and/or technical training (HTL/HAK high school diploma/studies) Relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably of technically demanding products and steel construction Written and spoken English for supplier correspondence and negotiations Good knowledge of BMD-NTCS – an advantage Independent, reliable and precise working style Loyalty and discretion Our offer:
