Position
We are looking for a proactive and solutions-oriented Legal Counsel (Websites & E-commerce) to support our legal operations across multiple SaaS brands in the EU (90% located in the DACH region ). In this role, you will work closely with group legal experts, leading strategic legal projects and providing first-line legal support for a cluster of SaaS brands. You will be responsible for overseeing legal integration post-acquisitions, managing corporate housekeeping, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will also collaborate with external counsel and drive continuous improvement in legal processes within our team.
Responsibilities
- Together with group legal experts, implement defined legal standards in a harmonized and coherent way across a cluster of SaaS brands in different EU countries;
- Be the legal SPOC for a cluster of SaaS brands (mostly in the DACH region) and support them on strategic legal projects;
- Provide first-line legal support and legal advice to a cluster of SaaS brands;
- Liaise and coordinate with group legal experts or outside counsel for second-line legal support and legal advice;
- Drive the post-closing legal integration of new SaaS acquisitions;
- Lead corporate housekeeping activities for SaaS and act as corporate secretary during board meetings;
- Implement relevant upcoming regulations within relevant SaaS brands;
- Support cross-sell activities involving relevant SaaS brands;
- Improve legal processes by sharing best practices within the team.blue legal team.
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lawyer and one in-house experience;
- Experience working with SaaS or other high-growth tech companies in fast-paced environments and different jurisdictions (particularly in Germany and other EU jurisdictions);
- Experience with commercial contracts and working in a sales environment;
- Knowledge in Privacy-related areas and Intellectual Property is a plus;
- Proficiency in both English and German, both verbal and written (mandatory );
- Problem solver;
- Keen to develop your project management skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders;
- Analytical and pragmatic;
- Well-organised and self-starter;
- Open-minded and broad interests;
- Smoothly consults with your colleagues, asks questions and takes initiative.
