Your contribution

In this versatile role, you will work on the development of (optical) laboratory devices for medical technology.

• Planning, development, optimization, and maintenance of firmware for existing and new products in the field of laboratory analysis instruments.
• Your activities cover the entire development cycle, from the idea to the concept phase, specification, design, coding including documentation, to support and any error analysis.
• Working in a team and in close cooperation with other disciplines such as software, electronics, mechanics, optics, or motion control.

Your profile

• Bachelor\’s/Master\’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics (university/university of applied sciences)
• Sound know-how in embedded software programming
• Solid programming skills in C required, programming skills in C# and C++, as well as embedded Linux is an advantage
• Experience with real-time operating systems and various communication protocols (I²C, SPI, CAN, USB etc.)
• Experience with continuous integration and unit testing
• Experience in control and drive technology
• Experience in signal analysis and signal processing
• Ideally experience in medical technology (development according to IEC 62304)

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 4,215.39 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training, qualifications, and experience.
