Senior Data Scientist / Senior Software Technology Engineer*
Your contribution
- Lead innovation in Machine Learning and MLOps topics in the Machine Learning and Simulation group of the Rapid Design and Innovation department.
- Evaluate market trends and technologies, collect feedback from customers, and collaborate with product management and software teams to provide innovative proof of concepts.
- Develop and implement new product innovations or software technologies until proof of concept in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and MLOps.
- Support projects in the adaptation of new technologies and product innovations.
- Manage and present innovation projects to R&D and product management.
- Act as a line manager for students, providing support in their thesis projects and practical work.
- Attend conferences and communities to spot new technologies.
- Build partnerships and collaborate closely with universities and research institutes.
Your background
- A PhD or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field of study.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Science using Python and various Machine Learning frameworks and tools, including cloud solutions.
- Very good knowledge of state-of-the-art software technologies and concepts.
- Experience in the development of C# / .NET Framework applications.
- Further education in liquid handling and robotics and/or in bi-pharma, forensics, and diagnostics applications is an advantage.
- Experience in managing young professionals is a plus.
