We are looking for an experienced Onsite Systems Administrator to support and manage IT infrastructure, applications, and system environments at a designated client location. This role ensures optimal system performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate has expertise in managing Microsoft server operating systems, networking infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 solutions.

Day to day responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and implementing identity management solutions within Microsoft 365, utilizing Azure Entra and related tools while managing services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Teams. Leads and supports Microsoft 365 migrations from on-premises to the cloud, troubleshooting user access, connectivity, and performance issues. Configures and maintains virtual and cloud-based network environments, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure, while installing, maintaining, and supporting servers, networking devices, and wireless infrastructure. Ensures secure authentication and authorization protocols across cloud and hybrid environments, establishing access policies that align with security and compliance standards. Collaborates with security teams to implement multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies, conducting routine audits of identity and access management policies. Provides training to IT staff and end-users on best practices, delivers responsive customer support via phone, onsite visits, and email, and mentors junior System Administrators and IT support staff. Participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidate’s previous skills & experience:

• 4+ years of IT experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) setting.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft server operating systems (Windows 2012 and newer) in networked environments.
• 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Entra, and Office 365 collaboration tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• 5+ years of experience configuring and managing WAN/LAN/VLAN infrastructures.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) solutions.
• 3+ years of experience working with network hardware such as switches, routers, and firewalls (Sophos, Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, Meraki) and troubleshooting network issues.
• Experience providing IT services using RMM, PSA, and remote management toolsets.
• Expertise in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 solutions, including cloud migration projects.
• Relevant IT certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA, or similar vendors.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.).
