The Department of Aerospace and Geodesy (ASG) at the Technical University of Munich is one of Europe's fastest-growing academic departments in the fields of aerospace and geodesy. As part of its long-term development strategy, ASG is expanding its presence across the Munich metropolitan area, including the campus in Ottobrunn-Taufkirchen. To support this transformation, we are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Campus Development.

Your Responsibilities

You will support the Dean and the Department leadership in all strategic and operational matters related to campus development and infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Coordinating all department-internal activities related to campus development and campus operations.
  • Acting as the primary interface between ASG and the central TUM real-estate and infrastructure divisions.
  • Supporting the planning, development, and implementation of new buildings, laboratories, research facilities, and teaching infrastructure.
  • Coordinating relocation projects, space allocation processes, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Supporting contractual and administrative matters related to leased and owned facilities.
  • Preparing strategic analyses, presentations, reports, and decision documents for the Department leadership.
  • Monitoring project timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple infrastructure projects.

Your Profile

  • University degree (Master's level preferred) in engineering, architecture, urban planning, management, public administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in project management, infrastructure development, real-estate projects, or organizational development.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple internal and external partners.
  • Experience working in a university, research organization, public administration, or technology environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.

We offer a full-time position. The position is initially limited to 3 years. Payment will be based on the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service of the Länder (TV-L) depending on qualifications and experience.
