We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to support the deployment and implementation of advanced robotics and automation technologies within a large-scale operational environment.
In this role, you will lead onsite technical activities, coordinate engineering resources, and ensure the successful deployment, testing, and optimisation of complex automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate onsite Field Engineers and technical resources
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical activities and escalations
- Manage hardware and firmware deployments, upgrades, and system changes
- Coordinate software image deployments and feature releases
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in live operational environments
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Product teams
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce regular testing, performance, and status reports
- Identify training requirements and documentation gaps to support operational excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or a related discipline
- Experience in a Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar leadership role
- Strong background in robotics, automation, industrial engineering, or mechatronic systems
- Experience managing hardware and firmware deployments
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and organisational skills
