Let’s power higher performance!About the roleAs Lead SAP Consultant, Cash and Payments, Public Sector (m/f/d/x), you will design sophisticated SAP solutions for public-sector customers. You will combine in-depth SAP expertise with a strong understanding of the specific requirements of public administrations. The role focuses on cash, payment and related financial processes.As Lead Consultant, you will take on challenging advisory work and responsibility for solution design and subject-matter leadership. You will also play an important part in developing junior colleagues in cash and payments. Your responsibilities will include:Advising public-sector customers on the design, optimization and transformation of their SAP-based financial processes, with a focus on cash and paymentsAnalyzing complex business and technical requirements and turning them into robust end-to-end solution conceptsTaking responsibility for solution design and ensuring that cash and payment processes are integrated with the wider SAP landscapeDesigning solutions for processes such as payment processing, receivables management, open items and cash desk operationsSupporting SAP projects through multiple phases—from gathering and assessing business requirements through design and implementation to testing and go-live—as well as providing support through Application ManagementProviding subject-matter leadership to consultants and other experts on complex customer projectsCoordinating collaboration between business teams, SAP consulting, development, Application Management and other project stakeholdersFacilitating workshops and confidently presenting solution concepts to customers, project leads and managementContributing to the ongoing development of our solutions, methods and best practices for SAP Public SectorYour profileYou have several years of consulting experience and at least 5–7 years of hands-on SAP experience, with a focus on cash and payment processes. You also have SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise, including in-depth knowledge of modern financial architectures and proven implementation experience. You have a solid grounding in SAP Customizing and the technical configuration of relevant SAP modules, along with the following qualifications:Requirements analysis and solution design: A proven ability to gather business requirements in a structured way and translate them into robust solution concepts.Communication and presentation skills: Excellent ability to explain complex topics, as well as fluent German skills for professional negotiations.What would be an advantageStrong methodological expertise in both traditional and agile project environmentsProven experience in a responsible, hands-on role in public-sector implementation projects, including S/4HANA projects, or in Application ManagementKnowledge of accounting and public-administration processesAn ability to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunitiesA basic understanding of interface technologies and payment formats, including SEPA, ISO 20022 and API integrationsDoes this sound like the right role for you?
