Let’s power higher performance!About the roleAs SAP Consultant, Cash and Payments, Public Sector (all genders), you will contribute to sophisticated SAP solutions for public-sector customers. You will combine in-depth SAP expertise with an understanding of the specific requirements of public administrations. The role focuses on cash, payment and related financial processes.As a Consultant, you will take on advisory work, contribute to solution design and provide support through Application Management. Your responsibilities will include:Advising public-sector customers on the design, optimization and transformation of their SAP-based financial processes, with a focus on cash and paymentsAnalyzing business and technical requirements and developing solutionsEnsuring that cash and payment processes are integrated with the wider SAP landscape, and designing solutions for processes such as payment processing, receivables management, open items and cash desk operationsSupporting SAP projects through multiple phases—from gathering and assessing business requirements through design and implementation to testing and go-live—as well as providing support through Application ManagementWorking independently with business teams, development, Application Management and other project stakeholdersContributing to the ongoing development of our solutions, methods and best practices for SAP Public SectorYour profileYou have solid experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and several years of consulting experience in finance, ideally with exposure to the public sector. You are confident working with SAP Customizing and have practical experience in the technical configuration and adaptation of SAP Finance modules. You also have the following qualifications:Strong requirements analysis and solution design skills: The ability to document customer processes systematically and translate them into robust solution conceptsStrong customer focus: Excellent communication skills and a professional manner when working directly with stakeholdersFluent German: Professional spoken and written German skills to support smooth project deliveryThe following would also be an advantageKnowledge of SAP industry solutions for the public sector, such as SAP PSCD or SAP PSMProven experience in a responsible, hands-on role in public-sector implementation projects, including S/4HANA projects, or in Application ManagementFamiliarity with the specific requirements of municipal and state finance, including cameral accounting and double-entry accountingExperience managing interfaces and integrating payment formatsDoes this sound like the right role for you?
