Let’s power higher performance!About the roleAs Senior SAP Consultant, Cash and Payments, Public Sector (all genders), you will design sophisticated SAP solutions for public-sector customers. You will combine in-depth SAP expertise with a strong understanding of the specific requirements of public administrations. The role focuses on cash, payment and related financial processes.As a Senior Consultant, you will take on challenging advisory work, contribute to solution design and provide support through Application Management. You will also play an important part in developing junior colleagues in cash and payments. Your responsibilities will include:Advising public-sector customers on the design, optimization and transformation of their SAP-based financial processes, with a focus on cash and paymentsAnalyzing complex business and technical requirements and turning them into robust end-to-end solution conceptsEnsuring that cash and payment processes are integrated with the wider SAP landscapeDesigning solutions for processes such as payment processing, receivables management, open items and cash desk operationsSupporting SAP projects through multiple phases—from gathering and assessing business requirements through design and implementation to testing and go-live—as well as providing support through Application ManagementTaking responsibility for your workstream in complex customer projectsWorking independently with business teams, development, Application Management and other project stakeholdersFacilitating workshops and confidently presenting solution concepts to customers, project leads and managementContributing to the ongoing development of our solutions, methods and best practices for SAP Public SectorYour profileYou have several years of consulting experience and at least 5–7 years of hands-on SAP experience, with a focus on cash and payment processes. You also have experience with SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) and are familiar with both cameral accounting and double-entry accounting. You understand the cash and payment processes specific to public administration, such as e-payment, SEPA and federal or state cash offices. In addition, you have the following qualifications:Requirements analysis and solution design: A proven ability to gather business requirements in a structured way and translate them into robust solution conceptsCommunication and presentation skills: Excellent ability to explain complex topics, as well as fluent German skills for professional negotiationsDoes this sound like the right role for you?
