Let’s power higher performance!A global team of experts in the SAP Portfolio Unit supports nearly 600 customers with a comprehensive SAP portfolio—from consulting and migration to SAP S/4HANA to cloud operations and application management.About the roleAs a Senior SAP S/4HANA Logistics Consultant (m/f/d/x) in Source-to-Pay & EAM, you will provide strategic and technology consulting to customers in the SAP S/4HANA space, with a functional focus on at least one of these process areas: Source-to-Pay or Acquire-to-Decommission.You will conduct requirements and feasibility analyses and actively contribute to bid teams, including preparing proposals, estimating effort, presenting solutions, and running customer workshops. You will develop and design modern end-to-end solutions for SAP implementation, transformation, and optimization projects. You will also be responsible for the functional implementation of concepts, system configuration and customizing, as well as coordinating and carrying out tests.Your other responsibilities will include:Taking on a broader steering role in complex SAP S/4HANA programs and subprojects, and supporting project management with planning, governance, and risk managementProviding functional leadership to project teams and coordinating collaboration with customers, internal departments, and offshore and nearshore teamsActively supporting the development of existing customer relationships, identifying added value, and finding opportunities to expand work with customersContributing market, technology, and project experience to the ongoing development of the SAP portfolioCoaching and mentoring consultants and junior consultants, and supporting their structured professional developmentSupporting sales and presales activities by preparing solution concepts, proposal content, and customer presentationsKeeping up to date with SAP strategies, technologies, and innovations and applying them to customer and project solutionsYour profileYou have a successfully completed degree in (business) information technology, business administration with a focus on IT, public administration, or a comparable qualification. You also have at least six years of recent professional experience as an SAP consultant or SAP architect in at least one of these process areas: Source-to-Pay / Procurement or Acquire-to-Decommission / Asset Management. Additional knowledge of MDG or DRC is welcome.You have contributed successfully to several full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformations—Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition—and have gained in-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the underlying business processes.You also bring:Strong business administration skills and a well-developed understanding of integrated logistics processesA very good understanding of current SAP solutions and technologies, such as SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP GROW, and Business AI, as well as SAP’s transformation strategyExperience leading subprojects and initial practical experience managing projects or larger project streamsStrong customer consulting skills and the ability to present functional and technical solutions appropriately to different audiencesThe ability to communicate and collaborate with business departments, project leads, and customer representatives, including at management levelA structured way of working based on established project management methods and SAP ActivateExperience providing functional leadership to project team members and strong interpersonal skills when working with distributed teamsA strong team spirit, initiative, and an independent, reliable, solution-oriented approachVery good written and spoken German and EnglishWillingness to work on site at customer locations and as part of international, distributed project teamsDoes this sound like the right role for you?
