You will be leading a multi-national development team and providing expert support to our customers in activities related to the development and operational rollout of the next generation ESA ground segment infrastructure based around PULSE and OPEN. In this role you will collaborate closely with client's technical managers and end users to support the operational rollout of PULSE based ground segment solutions for new ESA and commercial missions and the transition of missions in flight. Your new Job As Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical activities of development and integration teams. You will be the main interface to our clients for all technical matters with responsibility for the overall control of your project portfolio to ensure they deliver against agreed scope, schedule and budget. Responsibilities/Duties
Leading technical teams Being responsible for the distribution and coordination of project tasks Ensuring the provision of high-quality and in-time delivery of project deliverables by the project team Coordinating with customer technical manager for the alignment of priorities Maintaining the product backlog and release plan, Maintaining the project budget and schedule, Reporting on the technical progress of service tasks, Disseminating knowledge and learn with others; praising openly successes of your colleagues and get praised for your successes. Sharing competences and being involved in training of junior colleagues Assisting & motivating team members Supporting the preparation of proposals and future business development.
Essential Skills
Experience in developing, integrating, validating software or in software user support activities or in data system management support activities in the space domain, in particular the ground segment Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and transfer this knowledge into data-models and processes Interpersonal and effective leadership skills to establish and maintain good working relationships Proficiency in spoken and written English
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of next generation ESA ground segment infrastructure systems such as PULSE, EGS-CC, EGOS-CC, MCS-CC, EGOS-MG, OPEN or related systems Ability to create software design documentation Experience with Dev(Sec)Ops, CICD Principles Experience with Linux and Bash scripting Experience with test tools for Spacecraft Monitoring & Control System, e.g. Satellite Simulators.
