Your mission
Your diverse tasks can be assigned to the following three main areas:
Project Controlling:
- You constantly monitor commercial project costs, manage project team meetings and continuously review and optimize project reporting.
- You create plan/actual comparisons, carry out variance analyses and monitor costs.
- As a sparring partner for the project management team, you support projects and implement ad hoc analyses.
Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- You will create and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting, pricing strategies and investment decisions.
- You will be responsible for analyzing key business drivers, industry trends and competitor performance to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- You will enjoy working in cross-functional teams as well as developing models for new product launches, pricing strategies and market expansions.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- You will lead the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis and budget consolidation.
- You will be responsible for developing financial models to support business planning, strategic initiatives and decision making.
- Monitor and control operating expenses and implement cost saving initiatives.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, controlling, economics or a related field.
- You have at least 3-5 years of experience in financial management or a similar function, preferably in an international environment.
- You have already proven your strong analytical and problem-solving skills many times.
- You have knowledge of BI software, ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Your excellent communication skills are convincing, as are your very good German and English skills.
- You are confident and proven in self-management, work detail-oriented and think strategically.
