Description and Requirements
TELUS Digital is looking for a Language Data Analyst in Barcelona, Spain to work onsite for a machine learning project! At the moment, we are looking for candidates with fluency in Danish for a temporary contract (long-term maternity leave lasting until July approximately).
As a Language Data Analyst you oversee the curation and management of data. You ensure that the AI systems have access to high-quality, diverse, and relevant data to enable accurate and ethical decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify, gather and process relevant data from various sources, ensuring its quality, accuracy and integrity
- Implement data cleaning, transformation and enrichment processes to optimize data usability for AI models
- Adapt language to fit a particular culture or market (localization)
- Translate content from English to Danish
Competencies:
- Giving support, focusing on customers, embracing technology, managing self-development
- No people management accountabilities
- Ability to perform curation, cleaning and transformation processes
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with bias mitigation techniques and ethical considerations in AI
- Basic knowledge in programming languages and relevant libraries
Qualifications:
- Experience in data annotation or data labeling is a plus
- Educational background in Linguistics, Literature, Translation or equivalent in a plus
- Proficient English oral and written
- Proficient in Danish , oral and written
