Hello there, people at TELUS Health are happy to greet you
TELUS Health supports the total health and well-being of over 35 million lives worldwide. We empower healthier, happier, and more productive employees by combining our award-winning Employee Assistance Program with proactive wellness solutions in a digital ecosystem that helps them prevent and manage issues in family, health, life, money, and work.
In Berlin, we at TELUS Health Engage are creating the future of digital health products: a mobile health and wellbeing companion, to help support the physical and mental wellbeing of individuals globally. We work with employers and health insurance providers to reach as many people as possible.
We're looking for an Insurance & Partnerships Manager (Sales) (w/m/d) to join our Sales Team in Berlin.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in the office.
Your mission in a nutshell:
Own and grow our insurance channel in the DACH market — identifying, pursuing, and closing strategic partnerships with major health insurers and resellers, and becoming the key commercial link between TELUS Health Engage and the German-speaking insurance industry.
How you will spend your time:
Identify, approach, and close strategic partnerships with major health insurers (Krankenversicherungen) and other relevant players across the DACH market
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of insurance partners — building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and C-level stakeholders
Lead end-to-end deal cycles: from prospecting and pitching through commercial negotiation to contract close and onboarding hand-off
Develop and execute a DACH market strategy for the insurance vertical, including target mapping, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting
Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and senior leadership to shape propositions that resonate with the insurance sector and address their specific needs
Represent TELUS Health Engage at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs relevant to the German insurance landscape
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates to senior leadership on deal progress, market trends, and commercial opportunities
What you should bring to the table:
Several years of senior-level B2B sales or partnerships experience, with a clear track record of closing complex, high-value deals in the insurance or health insurance sector
Deep knowledge of the DACH insurance landscape — you understand how statutory (GKV) and private (PKV) health insurers operate, make decisions, and procure digital health solutions
An established network of relevant contacts within the German-speaking insurance market
Fluent in German and fluent in English — you can pitch, negotiate, and build relationships with equal confidence in both languages
Comfortable operating in a consultative, senior sales environment — you know how to navigate complex organisations, manage long cycles, and bring deals over the line
Experience in digital health, wellbeing, or EAP solutions is a strong advantage
You will be successful in your role after 6 months, if:
You have a clear and qualified pipeline of insurance partners across DACH, with at least one deal closed or in final negotiation
You are a trusted point of contact for existing insurance partners and are actively expanding those relationships
Leadership and product teams have a clear view of the DACH insurance opportunity, with your market insights actively shaping commercial strategy
