Our client is one of the leading players in the field of medical technology and develops innovative high-tech devices for medical use. The company currently employs around 700 people.

We are looking for support in the area of Software Developer (m/f/d) in the Nuremberg area at the earliest possible date. The position is to be filled as part of a permanent position via direct placement.

Your future tasks:

• Development of software for a Linux-based C-arm and additional modules
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary and international project teams
• Support in defining requirements and creating work packages
• Development along the entire technology stack (operating system, backend, GUI)
• Integration of the components into the overall solution
• Execution of code reviews, unit tests, integration tests and system tests
• Contributing expertise to promote innovative software solutions in medical technology

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies in computer science, medical informatics, medical technology, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g. IT specialist)
• Several years of professional experience in software development with C, C++17, Python and Bash
• Experience in designing, verifying and documenting software
• Confident with Visual Studio Code, Jenkins, Git, CMake, UML and Linux
• Desirable: Knowledge of imaging procedures in an intraoperative environment and experience in the development of medical software
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
