Your contribution to TenneT

The Project Engineering team within Grid Field Operations Offshore is accountable for risk-based project planning and development (category 1-3) as well as for the project execution of the existing offshore grid connection systems in the Netherlands and Germany in a safe and sound manner to safeguard the security of supply.

You will be leading a team of 12 team members, especially motivation, inspiring, coaching and development of people. You contribute to and co-own strategy developments and its implementation. As a team lead, you ensure the implementation of project management governance (guidelines and principles), defined by the Project Excellence team.

The execution of special category 3 projects as well as cross-area projects, including project tendering, detailed engineering and execution are your responsibility. You ensure that your team actively contributes and co-owns Excellence Processes, Standards and Guidelines.

Your profile and background

1. Academic working and thinking level and a relevant engineering degree or comparable.
2. Relevant working experience as well as project management certificates (IPMA, PMP or comparable).
3. Leadership vs. Management: being able to balance transactional and transformational leadership in the best interest of the team.
4. Leadership: being an inspiring and motivating leader by providing orientation and guidance for all team members with respect to Mission & Ambitions; establishing a high performance culture based on a high quality of interaction (strong team cohesion) and quality of direction (solution and progress orientated way of thinking and working).

Grid Field Operations is executing Field Operations, Maintenance and (Baseload) Projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of our assets entrusted to us, while also ensuring their maximum availability. We make sure that the onshore grids of TenneT is reliable in Germany and the Netherlands.

Salary: 131732 € – 164665 €.
