Rollingstock Test and Commissioning Engineer

Rollingstock Test and Commissioning Engineer

Job Requirements

The resource will be part of a team focused on Railway System testing.

  • Focus on test, verification, and delivery of a CBTC signalling system including Onboard, Ground Based, and Operational Control subsystems.
  • Be an interface with the engineering team and the V&V leaders.
  • Join V&V test in the lab.
  • Report eventual anomalies during Static, Dynamic, and Simulated testing and be proactive in facing them.
  • Be responsible for the architecture definition according to the specified requirements and safety integrity level.
  • Review and Verification of the project to guarantee that the functionalities and performances of the requirements are achieved.
  • Work in an AGILE team and scrum framework.
  • Safety first focus for all project activities.

Preferential Position Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the railway field.
  • Hands-on experience in railway subsystems, or System Integration.
  • Good communication, planning, and organization/control skills; strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and able to anticipate issues.
