We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer – Platform & Infrastructure to join our software engineering team.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions and cloud-based platforms that support business-critical applications.
Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and Dev Ops specialists to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.
- Your Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
- Implement and enhance RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
- Design and optimize database structures and persistence layers.
- Develop cloud-native solutions using modern AWS services.
- Build and maintain containerized applications and deployment environments.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
- Participate in system integration and ensure seamless communication between software components.
- Perform code reviews, technical testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues while contributing to system stability and performance.
- Support the operation and continuous improvement of software platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Experience developing enterprise software using Java and modern backend frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with relational databases and data modelling.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops principles and modern software development practices.
- Experience working in agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within international and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Basic German language skills are required
