We are looking for a:
The ideal candidate is an Engineering graduate who has gained at least 3-4 years of experience in the role of TCMS System Engineer.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Train Vehicle functionalities and be able to define related TCMS System Requirement.
- Design/evaluate TCMS architectures and write related document.
- TCMS network design and configuration (ETH, MVB/WTB, TRDP, other).
- Create TCMS system requirements and manage the workflow/process.
- Define the interface control document between the TCMS devices and the other vehicle subsystems.
- When already available, analyse the system requirements and assign them to the proper device.
- Participates in design reviews internally and with customers to ensure the correct assignment/implementation.
- Technical lead for the whole design lifecycle.
- When necessary, support the development and verification engineers.
Mandatory Skills:
- Previous experience within a systems engineering role.
- Domain knowledge of locomotive/train control with a rolling stock background.
- Main vehicle functionalities knowledge.
- Experience in requirements workflow/process management.
- Knowledge of TCMS HW equipment (VCUs, HMIs, Gateways, MIOx, etc.).
- Knowledge of standards EN50657, EN50128, IEC61375.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in TCMS code programming, functional block diagrams and model-based design.
- Selectron HW and related development toolchain knowledge.
- Ability to read and analyze electrical diagrams.
- Tools for requirements handling (i.e. DOORS, DNG)
