We are looking for an ILS Analysis Engineer , highly organized and detail-oriented, to join our team to support our client Spaceopal in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the evolutions of the ground infrastructure, which includes participation in reviews, supporting ILS analysis tasks, and the continuous improvement of existing operation support processes and procedures. This involves daily support of the Galileo ground infrastructure, including assisting the local L1 maintenance team with ILS issues and managing logistics aspects and documentation needs.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Contribute to ILS engineering and analysis tasks in the frame of the continuous improvement process and system evolutions.
- Support the analysis of the defined support policies applied for the Galileo System.
- Review the Logistic Support Analysis and harmonize data inputs for integration into the GSOp tools.
- Review the RAMS and identify support gaps.
- Review the System Obsolescence and its implications on operations.
- Provide ILS inputs to inquiries and reports.
- Manage data in the ILS tools and ensure compliance with common norms and standards.
- Support operations, e.g., L1 maintenance, regarding the availability of spares/support.
- Maintain and update asset status information in central tools.
- Participate in GSOp internal meetings and support GSOp ILS/CM reporting tasks with inputs gathered locally and via central tools.
- Participate in GSOp external ILS meetings to coordinate with external parties on ILS and Configuration Management aspects.
- Liaise with and support local Maintenance Teams concerning the ILS/CM interface.
- Contribute to reviews of data packs received from the infrastructure provider in the frame of new releases/evolutions.
You should have the following qualifications:
- A degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/Informatics/Aerospace Engineering with at least 2 years of work experience, or 5+ years of related work experience.
- A good technical background/experience in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) disciplines and tasks.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
- Hands-on mentality, systematic, self-organized, and able to prioritize effectively.
- EU citizenship is necessary.
This is a full-time position located at Spaceopal headquarters (Munich, Germany) , with the planned start date as soon as possible. Participation in meetings in other relevant project locations in Europe is foreseen.
