The 3year bachelors program and the 2year masters program in Data Science is run in cooperation with the TU Hamburg (TUHH) and starts on September 1, 2025. The academic part provides you with the theoretical foundation, which you can immediately apply during the practical phases at tesa in the field of Data Science.

During the practical phases (812 weeks per semester), you will support one of the following teams:

• Digitalization und Innovation Processes (Research und Development):
  In this team, you are responsible for the digitalization of R und D laboratory and Pilot Center processes. This includes data management, data interpretation, digital product development and digital process twins
• Polymer and Adhesive Architecture (PAA):
  In this team, you support the development and improvement of our adhesives and products through modeling and simulation

Regardless of the department you choose, you will be part of ongoing projects, support daytoday business independently and be able to apply your knowledge from your studies directly on the job.

What you will need

For the Master:

• You have successfully completed a Bachelors degree or are currently pursuing one in a relevant field (e.g., data science, computer science, physics, business informatics) and meet both general and subjectspecific requirements of the TUHH
• You are fluent in English
• You are enthusiastic about modern IT technologies, numbers, and analyses
• You work independently and in a structured manner, have an analytical mindset and good problemsolving skills
• You have basic programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB and first experiences in modelling materials
• Ideally, you have already gained some practical experience in an international environment

The application period at TUHH for the winter semester 2025/2026 is from June 1 to July 15.
