Tesa is a multinational company, running a portfolio of more than 7,000 innovative adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions for various industries, commercial customers, and end consumers.

You support our sales team and customers with technical concept development, prototype development, and respective solutions of application devices in automotive display applications (manual/fully automated) in order to meet customer demands.

You will be the project manager/coordinator between tesa stakeholders, customers, and mechanical engineering partners in critical phases leading to the realization of tape process automation.

You will collaborate with customers and the development team to understand and align new product specifications and capabilities for processibility with market demands.

You are responsible for benchmarking technology and competition in the defined focus field and provide input to Product, Technology Development, and the Marketing team.

You will be part of a dynamic team which is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit.

With your hands-on mentality, you verify technical concepts from first drafting up to full prototype development application devices.

Part of your job will be creating and implementing internal and external technical trainings on adhesive tape application processes.

Up to 50% travel activities is within your comfort zone.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Technical engineering background with a master’s or bachelor’s degree, preferably mechanical engineering or related studies.
  2. 3+ years of professional experience in the automotive display industry.
  3. Proven experience in optical bonding process of displays and related manufacturing processes.
  4. Strong understanding of display technologies, materials, and production techniques.
  5. Preferably experience in customer service or other direct customer-facing roles.
  6. Fluent in written and spoken English (at least B2) and German is a plus.
  7. Experiences in CAD software and 3D design is a plus.
  8. Excellent communication skills and talented networker.
  9. Advanced presentation and negotiation skills, strong customer focus, result-oriented.
  10. Team player able to communicate and work across hierarchy levels.
