SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant (m/f/x)

Contract type: Permanent Working time: Full-time You will be working in the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) within tesa´s Digital & IT unit. The SAP CoE is the driving force behind our digital transformation through state-of-the-art SAP solutions. As an experienced SAP GTS Consultant, you will be part of the SAP CoE´s Business Partner Functions team and be responsible for shaping the future of tesa´s solutions around Global Trade, Export and Customs Management. In close collaboration with your SAP CoE colleagues and business stakeholders you will implement innovative SAP projects and play a pivotal role in transforming tesa´s SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities Partner with Export & Customs business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on solution options Identify improvement opportunities within tesa´s GTS Edition for HANA and S/4HANA platform Actively participate in project delivery, i.e. gather requirements, write functional specifications, configure the system, execute testing, deliver trainings, etc. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of Export and Customs processes with other business areas Understand and consult on functional and technical interdependencies with other areas like Sales, Logistics, Finance or Intercompany Stay updated on SAP GTS innovations and features Provide expert advice on SAP GTS functionalities Relevant university degree or business education More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in SAP GTS Hands-on SAP GTS delivery experience in end-to-end implementation projects Strong knowledge of SAP GTS functionality especially regarding the export module, preferences calculation and export control compliance Good understanding of Classic SPL Screening, HANA SPL Screening, Product Classification using Number Sets, Export Legal Control, Customs Imports Processing, and Free Trade Zone Processing Project management skills – ability to deliver quality results in a given timeline within international teams Strong verbal and written communication skills tesa is one of the world\’s leading manufacturers of adhesive tape solutions, with a range of more than 7,000 products.
