Location: Hamburg, Norderstedt - tesa HeadquarterEntry as: limited to max. 1 yearWork Area: MarketingWhat you will doAs a Product Manager, you will own the global growth strategy for an assigned product portfolio in the Paper & Packaging Solutions business unit, translating customer needs, market insights and technological capabilities into scalable solutions that deliver sustainable business growth. Acting as the global business owner for your portfolio, you will collaborate across R&D, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Regional Marketing to drive innovation, commercial success and successful market deployment throughout the entire product lifecycle.Your tasks includeOwn the global growth strategy for your product portfolio, driving revenue growth, profitability, market share and long-term portfolio performance.Transform customer insights, market trends and sustainability requirements into innovative product solutions, ensuring new developments are built around validated customer needs.Lead the complete product lifecycle from ideation and business case development through market launch, deployment, portfolio optimization and end-of-life management.Develop and execute global portfolio positioning, pricing and commercialization strategies while continuously optimizing portfolio complexity and product profitability.Drive international product launches and deployment roadmaps in close collaboration with regional teams, ensuring successful market adoption and measurable business impact.Build robust business cases for innovation initiatives, including revenue forecasting, profitability assessments, investment prioritization and resource recommendations.Monitor market developments, competitive activities and emerging growth opportunities to identify new applications, adjacent markets and future portfolio expansion opportunities.Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Finance to successfully execute strategic initiatives without direct hierarchical authority.What you will needUniversity degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or another relevant technical or commercial discipline.Several years of experience in international product management, strategic marketing or business development within an industrial or B2B environment.Experience within the paper and packaging industry is highly preferred, ideally with knowledge of flexographic printing, packaging converting processes, printing technologies or related application areas.Demonstrated experience managing the complete product lifecycle, from innovation and commercialization through portfolio optimization and market deployment.Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases, evaluating profitability and translating market opportunities into sustainable business growth.Proven ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams, influencing diverse stakeholders in a global matrix organization.Strategic, customer-centric and data-driven mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Fluent English is required; additional language skills and international experience are considered an advantage.What you can expecttesa is one of the world's leading manufacturers of adhesive tape solutions, with a range of more than 7,000 products.
