We are looking for an Intern to join our Ops/FDIR System Engineering and Avionics Qualification department for Germany (TSEAF1). TSEAF1 focuses on 3 main areas: Mission/Satellite Operations, Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) and Avionics Qualification. We provide dedicated engineering services for Earth Observation, Science and Telecommunication missions. Our ways of working are mostly integrated within the mission project teams and contribute throughout the complete development cycle of our space missions, starting with early phase studies, all the way up to the launch and on-orbit mission operations.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Support the setting-up and customization of Avionics related applications & tools used by Ops/FDIR and Avionics Qulification Architects
- Support the Avionics requirements management process & non-conformance handling
- Support the day-to-day activities of the Avionics Architects on running satellite projects
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
- Experience programming with Python
- Experience in working with the Atlassian collaboration software is a plus
- English (fluent) mandatory
- You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
