Internship (d/f/m) Tolerancing Data Manager

Start: September 2024
Duration: 6 months
The Airframe Tolerancing team provide specialized Tolerancing (dimensional variation management) solutions for all Airbus programmes (A220, Single Aisle, A330, A350, A380 and A400M), as well as for research programs such as Fuselage of Tomorrow, new technologies, new aircraft concepts and innovative industrial systems.
The Airframe Tolerancing team is a multicultural team with representatives in the UK, France, Germany and Spain, and has ties with Airbus North America and Airbus India Engineering.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will contribute to the following main activities:
- To define the tolerancing data management needs
- To perform benchmark on data management in different industries
- To design and implement improved tools to ensure data management effciency and data quality
- To perform a beta version for the tools business validation
- To prepare and perform awareness sessions to the team and relevant stakeholders
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student in the area of Mechanics, Aeronautics, Manufacturing & Assembly or an equivalent field of study
- Experienced with Google Suite, Powerpoint
- Data Management & analytics
- Negotiable in German and English
