What You’ll Bring

• Currently working towards a degree in a relevant engineering program such as Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Physics
• A Passion for audio, self-motivation, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Technical experience in audio products
• Previous exposure to CAD an advantage
• Hands-on experience in measurements of acoustic components and audio electronics
• Strong problem-solving & debugging skills
• Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis an advantage
• Good written and oral English communication skills

What You’ll Do

• Support the product development of speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and other audio system products
• Gain knowledge of our components and audio systems, relative to a vehicle environment and integration
• Work with suppliers on design, development, manufacturing processes, and validation of audio products
• Participate in cross-functional discussions with mechanical, electrical, DSP, NVH, QA, program management, and manufacturing
• Support simulations of acoustic components, systems, and environments
• Support early acoustic prototype development to de-risk new technologies
• Generate a test plan that includes milestones that focus on de-risking product and/or feature deployment and align with the program timeline
• Ensure the hardware meets required design criteria across a host of environments and regulations while collaborating with the reliability, test, and homologation teams
• Optimize the system designs including DSP, amplifier, speaker, microphone, and acoustic environment
