Join Us as a Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled civil engineer to undertake all civil engineering tasks within the \“Tank, Civil and Structural Steel Department.\“ The role requires liaising with other engineering disciplines, leading proposals and projects, and supervising a team of structural engineers and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and interpreting soil and seismic assessment reports
• Executing and interpreting geotechnical calculations
• Performing basic and detailed engineering for civil activities as per project requirements
• Supervising and coordinating the design of civil structures, roads, drainage, marine structures, and earthworks
• Estimating quantities and engineering man-hours
• Using computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare design documents
• Supporting and supervising the design of the Plant 3D Model
• Preparing ITB documents during project execution and coordinating external engineering services
• Providing back-office support to site activities, including responding to site queries and validating design reworks
• Contributing to continuous departmental and company improvements, such as developing templates and guidelines
• Leading projects as the lead engineer and mentoring junior engineers

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are the right fit if you have:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil & gas industry in a similar role
• Knowledge of applicable national and international codes and standards
• Basic understanding of structural dynamics and earthquake-resistant design
• Expertise in structural analysis, solid construction, and soil mechanics
• Proficiency with finite element analysis software (SAP2000 or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software (E3D or Tekla Structures is a plus)
• Excellent English communication skills; German knowledge is a plus
• Structured work approach, high self-motivation, team spirit, and assertiveness
• Experience working in international teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness for worldwide travel and assignments abroad
