Über die Rolle

Due to continued growth, a leading engineering contractor is seeking a motivated and driven Electrical Project Engineer to join their team on major projects based in Frankfurt.

Reporting to the Site Electrical Project Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, site supervisors, project managers, EHSQ advisors, and subcontractors to support the successful delivery of electrical installations across complex, mission‑critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Manage and implement site QA/QC procedures, including the preparation and issuance of weekly and monthly QA/QC reports.
  • Contribute to weekly progress reports and provide updates on project status and key milestones.
  • Review, coordinate, and manage project drawings, ensuring all revisions are communicated and implemented effectively.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to subcontractors and installation teams on project‑related electrical works.
  • Raise and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) where technical clarification is required.
  • Ensure compliance with all site requirements, company procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Apply effective troubleshooting techniques to identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate document control processes, ensuring all project registers and logs are kept up to date.
  • Prepare handover documentation, test packs, and commissioning documentation to support project completion.
  • Assist with the coordination of testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful system handover.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of works.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in an Electrical Project Engineer role within construction, building services, or mission‑critical environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience providing technical support to project management and site installation teams.
  • Knowledge of electrical installations, commissioning processes, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within a construction environment.
  • Self‑motivated with excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills would be advantageous.
  • Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other mission‑critical projects would be beneficial.
  • Experience working within a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
  • Familiarity with BIM processes and document control systems.
  • Previous experience supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
