Overview
In this role you will lead integration, test, verification and qualification activities for radar systems, with a focus on RF testing. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver ambitious radar solutions for demanding environments. You’ll define test strategies, set up RF test benches, and document results for customers and regulatory bodies. The position emphasizes improving test coverage, cost-effective compliant solutions, and strong cross-functional teamwork in an international context.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Plan and execute integration, test, verification and qualification activities for radar systems (RF-focused)
- Define test strategies and create test plans for existing and new products
- Define, implement and maintain RF tests and test benches for automatic testing
- Document test results per Thales guidelines and present to customers/regulatory bodies
- Assess and continuously improve test coverage of systems with emphasis on digital integration
- Propose work package estimates and ensure compliant, cost-efficient solutions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed technical master studies or comparable professional experience
- Experience in System Testing
- Experience setting up automatic tests with modern measurement devices
- Experience using data analysis tools (Python)
- Experience in defense or aerospace industry; radar experience is a plus
- Strong RF testing knowledge and familiarity with measurement devices
- Good understanding of complex systems and abstraction skills
- Knowledge of RF standards (ITU or Radio Equipment Directive) is advantageous
- Familiarity with requirements management tools is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills in national and international environments
