Finance Manager or FM

We are looking for a Finance Manager or FM to manage the organization’s finance department. It is an important new role as we transition from a PSP to an EMI.

A FM must be well-versed in all aspects of the company ranging from simple accounting to settlement operations. The candidate will be an effective manager since the relative departments of the organization will have key dependencies from the jobholder.

The goal is to achieve full financial control and to grow revenues and profits and maintain sustainable growth of the company.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company’s financial planning. Prepare management reports.
• Manage cash and liquidity risks. Manage the budget process and provide timely reports on performance against budget.
• Provide support to Customer Sales, Operations, Compliance and Risk Management teams. Provide insight and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organization.
• Engage and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team.
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and round table discussion panel.
• Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operation.
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
• Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and the company’s policies.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as Finance Officer or relevant role
• First hand knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• CPA, CIMA is a strong advantage.
• BSc/BA in Accounting,
• Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
