Overview
As Vice President, Compliance & Control in Frankfurt, you will support and stand in for the MLRO when needed to uphold German and European AML standards. You’ll strengthen the Risk & Regulatory Compliance function by shaping policies, conducting risk assessments, and guiding cross‑functional teams on compliance. You will lead investigations into breaches, monitor regulatory changes, and train staff to promote a culture of ethical conduct. This role offers impact through ensuring regulatory adherence and driving operational excellence in a leading global bank.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as MLRO in the absence of the MLRO
- Support MLRO with risk assessments, training, reviews, advisory work, outsourcing oversight, procedures updates, SAR filings, auditor liaison, and reporting
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular compliance assessments to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed compliance controls in business processes
- Provide guidance and training on compliance to employees
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise senior management on policy adjustments
- Lead investigations into compliance breaches and implement corrective actions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field
- Advanced certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) are advantageous
- Typically 5–10 years of experience in credit or financial institutions in financial crime or compliance
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interpret regulatory changes and implement compliance strategies
