As our Training Manager (m/f/d) , you will be part of Wertheim Village Retail Team and the Central Learning & Training team to contribute to a pleasant learning experience for our brand partners. You will be involved in a wide range of activities including but not limited to evaluation of the training initiatives, facilitation of trainings, cost tracking, design and redesign of online training materials and also researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning contributing to continuous improvement of the learning experience.

About the role

• Evaluate all training initiatives to determine ways to improve the learning experience and adapt to any changes in the workplace.
• Facilitate training for all Wertheim Village employees and brand employees.
• Write materials including participant workbooks, quick references, facilitator guides, and presentation materials.
• Identify internal or external subject matter experts to deliver programs where appropriate.
• Manage the costs of planned programs and keep them within budgets by assessing the return on investment.
• Ensure all online courseware development is delivered with high quality.
• Work with management on specialized/personalized coaching.
• Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and make recommendations contributing to the continuous improvement of our learning experience.

Role requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on delivery/development within a learning and development department.
• Retail training background is a must!
• Proven track record in an established training department.
• Computer literate with high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaboration skills and the ability to contribute within a team.
• Must have a great deal of energy, enthusiasm, and passion for development.
• Fluent in English and German; any other European language would be beneficial.
