WHAT YOU’LL DO

The ongoing personal and professional development of our consultants is very important to us at BCG. As a dynamic and motivated Working Student Learning & Development (L&D), you’ll be part of this in-house service department’s team. Your job will be to provide our consultants with impeccable training and coaching support in terms of content and organization over the course of their careers at BCG. We are particularly proud of the quality of our L&D offer, our collaboration within the team, and the diversity of the tasks we perform.

Your main responsibility will be to assist the L&D team in the preparation and follow-up of training for the Consulting Team. You’ll help get training equipment and documents ready, create and update participant lists, and analyze training feedback online. Your tasks will also include data visualization and data maintenance/processing for other back-office tasks. Furthermore, you’ll support the team with administrative tasks such as entering training dates into the team calendar and training database and preparing the minutes of regularly occurring ("jour fixe") meetings. You’ll manage our training equipment and ensure that it is always in working condition. Finally, you may be asked to assist with trainings on a day-by-day basis as needed.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • You enjoy organizing events and everything that it entails.
  • You’re keenly interested in people development at internationally oriented companies and in the activities described above in particular.
  • Your outstanding team and communication skills and your strong empathy set you apart.
  • Others can rely on you to be flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Absolute trustworthiness, discretion, and a sense of responsibility are second nature to you.
  • You perform detailed and complex tasks highly precisely, and you gain the confidence of others with your structured work style, independence, and solution mentality.
  • Ideally, you’re familiar with online collaboration tools (e.g., Slack and Trello), database systems, and HR cloud solutions, and enjoy working with them.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • You are enrolled at a (vocational) college or university.
  • You’ve already completed internships or otherwise acquired practical work experience in the field of HR.
  • You’re able to work proficiently with the software in the MS Office package and have a natural aptitude for tools.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English language skills complete your profile.

YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of a highly motivated 14-member team distributed over five countries, reporting directly to our Central Europe Head of Learning & Development. The team’s collaboration is characterized by respect, acceptance, and mutual trust. You’ll also be in close contact with coworkers in other HR departments and the European L&D department. Interfacing with them will give you interesting insight into the work of other areas of HR.
