Role Description The Regional Education Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Ruhr Region, responsible for overseeing educational programs and school operations within the assigned region. In this position, the individual will provide academic leadership, support school heads and teaching staff, and ensure implementation of TCF’s curriculum, teaching standards, and student assessment practices. The role involves regular school visits, coaching and mentoring educators, organizing professional development activities, and monitoring academic performance data to identify areas for improvement. The Regional Education Manager will collaborate with central education teams to roll out new initiatives, ensure compliance with organizational policies, and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. The role also includes building relationships with local stakeholders and communities to strengthen TCF’s presence and support for its educational mission.
Qualifications

  • Strong educational leadership capabilities, including experience managing schools, academic programs, or regional education initiatives.
  • Proficiency in curriculum implementation, classroom observation, and teacher mentoring to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze student performance data, prepare reports, and use insights to drive evidence-based improvements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with school staff, communities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity in education and sensitivity to diverse, less-privileged communities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in school management, teacher training, or educational program administration is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region and work on-site at schools as required.
