Senior SAP Consultant in Essen

• Support and maintain SAP logistics modules (focus on PP) and their interfaces.
• Provide end-to-end consulting to further develop production planning and control processes.
• Configure, adapt and enhance SAP PP through Customizing, including documentation.
• Develop interfaces to SAP SD, MM, QM and core applications such as MES.
• Carry out complex as-is analyses and develop to-be concepts, including cross-country templates.
• Prepare functional solution concepts and implement them in SAP rollouts, continuously optimising existing processes.
• Execute and quality-assure Customizing for corrections, changes and projects.
• Run SAP user training and testing with key users and business departments.
• Lead or contribute to projects and subprojects, and oversee external partners.

Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in business administration, business informatics or similar.
• Several years of logistics and project experience in a corporate or consulting setting, with strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of R/3 and S/4HANA in production and logistics.
• Strong SAP PP Customizing experience; knowledge of QM, WM or MM is desirable.
• Variant configuration experience (LO-VC or AVC).
• Greenfield and brownfield rollout experience in R/3 or S/4HANA.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
