Our client is looking for an experienced Claims Manager to take primary responsibility for their French reinsurance portfolio across Property and Casualty lines, with a particular focus on Motor and Bodily Injury, while also supporting selected other markets. Category: Claims Type: Permanent Key responsibilities (including but not limited to): Take primary responsibility for the French reinsurance claims portfolio across Property and Casualty lines, with a particular focus on Motor and Bodily Injury Manage complex reinsurance claims from notification to final settlement Provide an independent view on reserve adequacy and estimate exposures arising from major NatCat events and complex loss scenarios Plan and conduct client claims reviews in close cooperation with Underwriting Monitor legal and market developments in France and translate relevant findings into actionable insights for internal stakeholders Work closely with Underwriting by providing claims insights, lessons learned and portfolio-level feedback to support underwriting decisions and business development Higher education and/or equivalent professional experience Several years of claims or underwriting experience within the French Property and Casualty insurance or reinsurance market Strong technical expertise in Motor and/or Bodily Injury claims is highly desirable Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance contracts, with an affinity for the legal and technical aspects of claims handling A data-driven mindset with an interest in portfolio analytics, trend identification and underwriting insights #J-18808-Ljbffr
