We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electronic Design Engineer to join our partner responsible for the design of power-focused electronic systems applied in a vast array of IoT products. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge electronic hardware solutions for our IoT products.
This is a perfect time and opportunity for a senior engineer to step up into a leadership position, looking after a closely knit team of design engineers (2) working alongside you. With C-suite support and technical leadership operating in a hands-on manner, you will have all the tools you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of electronic design engineers (2), providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Define and implement design methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee the entire product development cycle, from concept to production.
- Design and Development: Design and develop complex electronic circuits, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs.
- Select appropriate components and technologies to meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
- Create detailed design documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test plans.
- Hardware Prototyping and Testing: Develop and execute test plans to verify design.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems.
- Experience with a variety of electronic components, such as microcontrollers, sensors, wireless modules, and power management ICs.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc.).
- Experience with Altium is a must.
