We are looking for an experienced Salon Development Partner to Support AVEDA \’s strategic growth by driving sales, expanding brand presence, and strengthening partnerships with salons across Switzerland. This role is critical for achieving regional revenue targets, enhancing salon performance, and ensuring brand alignment through effective implementation of AVEDA \’s marketing, training, and service standards. Through direct collaboration with salon owners, this position contributes to brand loyalty and long-term client retention, supporting AVEDA ’s objective of sustainable business development and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development, Salon Collaboration:
- Independent management of salon clients mainly in French-speaking, and partly in German-speaking Switzerland.
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
- Expand the product portfolio within existing salons.
- Strong focus on new salon acquisition through identifying and recruiting high potential partners across Switzerland.
- Organize and support the transition of new partner salons, coordinating setup and initial training for all team members.
- Execute and monitor all AVEDA marketing plan activities, including visual merchandising within partner salons.
- Strengthen salon presence via social media support and brand-building initiatives.
- Implement the AVEDA Service Wheel (Points of Difference) to promote sustainable, positive client relationships.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise directly with the internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Provide regular feedback and insights on market trends and performance.
- Manage administrative tasks to organize work, schedule training, and plan regional travel.
- Track and report on salon performance, assessing key metrics and business objectives.
- Maintain detailed records and conduct revenue analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Training & Development
- Conduct regular salon team meetings with training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and AVEDA rituals.
- Collaborate with each salon to create tailored training plans for color and trend workshops at the AVEDA Academy.
- Oversee onboarding and training for new partner salons, ensuring alignment with AVEDA standards, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Your Profile
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a commercial sales role with experience within the beauty or / and hair care sector, ideally in a multinational environment, paired with relevant education. Experience in the hair care sector is a plus.
- Fluent in French and English languages is a prerequisite for this role, as well as strong professional level in German is needed.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools .
- Willingness to travel up to 80-100%.
