Overview
In this role you will act as the commercial interface between the asset owner, the third-party optimiser, and key commercial partners to grow a large-scale battery storage portfolio. You will oversee commercial agreements, participate in negotiations, and shape route-to-market strategies for BESS assets. You’ll work across Germany and the UK to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and support the expansion of the business in a fast-paced, utility-scale environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Serve as the commercial interface between asset owner and optimiser
- Oversee commercial agreements and ensure obligations are implemented
- Support and participate in commercial and contract negotiations
- Develop understanding of route-to-market strategies for battery storage assets
- Build and maintain relationships with market participants in Germany and the UK
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities within the BESS market
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Fluent German and English
- Commercial experience within the Battery Energy Storage (BESS) sector
- Strong understanding of energy markets and route-to-market strategies
- Experience with commercial contract negotiations and contract management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Previous experience in asset management, business development or commercial management within renewables is desirable
