Asset Manager in Nürnberg

Overview

As Technical Asset Manager, you will oversee the operational phase of renewable energy assets, ensuring technical performance, compliance, and optimisation across a growing portfolio. You will bridge internal teams and external partners to drive asset care and process improvements. You’ll tackle technical performance, O&M monitoring, and risk mitigation while shaping asset management standards. This role offers direct visibility to leadership and the chance to scale PV and BESS operations in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Serve as the technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ensure high technical performance through O&M monitoring, site inspections, and performance optimisation
• Oversee compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety (HSE) requirements
• Support claims and warranty management including insurance coordination
• Review and approve technical documentation and invoices; contribute to reporting
• Manage external service providers and consultants
• Contribute to development and optimisation of internal processes, tools, and standards for technical asset management

Zentrale Anforderungen

• ~5+ years’ experience in technical asset management or operations of energy/infrastructure assets
• Strong exposure to solar PV and/or battery storage (BESS)
• Solid understanding of technical asset performance and O&M structures
• HSE and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Contract and stakeholder management
• Background in engineering or related technical discipline
• Comfortable working across technical, commercial, and operational interfaces
• Strong ownership mindset, decision-making ability, and collaborative working style
• Interest in digitalisation, automation, and performance optimisation tools
• Fluent German (C1)
