Overview
In this role you will lead German origination for a leading European BESS developer, building key relationships and closing commercial contracts. You will shape route-to-market strategies, collaborate across Europe, and provide market insight to influence the Energy Desk’s direction. You drive growth by converting opportunities into deals and contributing to portfolio performance. This is a high-visibility, impact-focused position in a flat, international team.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Build and maintain relationships with utilities, trading houses, grid operators, and other key counterparties
- Originate, negotiate, and close short- and long-term commercial contracts for battery storage assets
- Support route-to-market strategy, RFPs, and partner selection
- Collaborate with colleagues across Europe to convert opportunities into deals and maximize portfolio performance
- Provide market insight and contribute to shaping the future Energy Desk
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Native / Fluent German speaker, fluent in English
- 5–10 years’ experience in energy origination, trading, risk management, or related roles
- Strong track record of closing contracts and negotiating successfully
- Well-established network within the German energy market
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, independent, and collaborative mindset
- Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally across Europe
