• Cell-Matrix Interactions in Neuronal Development: Investigating how neurons interact with the extracellular matrix to influence brain development and function.
• Biophysics of Helminth-Host Interactions: Exploring the mechanical forces used by helminth parasites to navigate host tissues and the immune responses involved.
• Novel Mechanisms of Autoinflammation and Autoimmunity: Studying how immune responses are affected by naturally occurring immunomodulating molecules and their role in systemic diseases such as psoriasis.

Minimum Requirements

• A strong background in theoretical, statistical, mathematical, or biophysics, or applied mathematics and computer science .
• A keen interest in interdisciplinary research combining biology, physics, and medicine.
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
