What you do

• Responsible for the design, realization and maintenance of a cost and maintenance efficient software architecture
• Working closely with the global product team to ensure that our software solutions align with our business goals.
• Interact with development teams and stakeholders to ensure our solutions deliver a great user experience, are maintainable, and meet the highest security standards.
• Internalize the underlying business strategy across products to shape our technology landscape and discover emerging trends and technologies that can improve our overall architecture.
• Mentoring and coaching other software architects and developers to improve quality of our code, architecture, and software development practices.

Who you are

• Appropriate years of experience in software development, with a focus on API, cloud, security, and scalable architecture.
• Ability to design both, cloud-based APIs and microservices, as well as applications running on distributed IoT devices.
• Deep understanding of API design and development, RESTful architecture, and related technologies such as Swagger or OpenAPI.
• Hands-on experience in the usage of message brokers, their application, and relevant protocols and technologies, like RabbitMQ.
• Track record of designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based systems using AWS.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and key management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
