The role We are now looking for a Head of Operations to lead our site in Bassum and take end-to-end responsibility for everything that happens there – people, safety, quality, output and cost.

You'll report to our Group COO, and the role is based on-site in Bassum.

This is the top job on site.

Think of it as running your own business within the business: you will lead the daily operation hands-on, while also shaping where the site goes next.

You will be the site's face towards the wider TNC organisation, and the person our team in Bassum looks to for direction.

Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the Bassum site with full responsibility for operations, people, budget and results Running day-to-day operations across production, warehouse and logistics, so we deliver on time, in full and to the right quality Owning the site budget and cost base – planning, tracking and finding ways to operate more efficiently Making health & safety, food safety and quality part of everyday life on site, together with our QA team Building, leading and developing the site team and its team leaders, including resource planning and recruitment Setting and following up on the site's KPIs – safety, service level, productivity, efficiency and cost Driving continuous improvement through lean methods, standardisation and automation Managing site infrastructure, maintenance and investment projects Selecting and managing external partners and service providers, e. g. for logistics, packaging and maintenance Working closely with group functions such as supply chain, procurement, finance, HR and IT – and working constructively with the works council.

For the right person, this role is a stepping stone to wider operational leadership across TNC.

Your profile You will be the leader of an entire site, so we're looking for someone with: A degree in engineering, business, supply chain or similar – or equivalent hands-on experience5+ years in operations leadership in food, FMCG or a similar production/logistics environment, ideally with full site responsibility Experience leading larger teams, including team leaders, and building a safe, engaged work culture A strong grip on numbers – budgets, cost control and KPIs Solid knowledge of lean management, end-to-end operational processes and systems such as ERP, WMS and BI tools A visible, hands-on leadership style – you're out on the floor as much as you're in meetings Fluent German and English What we offer Being part of a high-growth company, in a role where you run your own site and see the impact of your decisions every day Real autonomy, with close exposure to executive management A clear path to grow as the company grows A competitive salary and benefits package Your application If you think The Nutriment Company is right for you, please send us your CV as soon as possible and no later than Oct 23rd.
